This winter seems to be quite a cold and overcast one… But, with that, you do get some benefits like layering, hot coffees whenever you want, and photographing at lunchtime when it’s the warmest its gonna be! That’s exactly what we did for Rachel & Anthony. We took them to the Virginia Capitol Building, we just can’t get enough of that beautiful place! We’ve been there a lot recently, so we branched out a little and mixed in some new spots in with our old favorites (we even broke out the drone!). And we were so glad that the rain held off that lunchtime once again, because it was the only opportunity to get these guys as an engaged couple until the summer, and they get married in the Fall! Anthony left that following week for the next 4 months as he is in the Army.

There isn’t really anywhere that you can’t photograph at the Capitol, especially with this smiley couple as your focus! Both Rachel & Anthony were naturals in front of our cameras! Their laughter was contagious, their faces lit up every time they looked at each other, and they just looked like they were having so much fun, which is what we want our couples to do!  We had so much fun with you  two, Rachel & Anthony! We can’t wait for your fall wedding, and hope this time as an engaged couple is full of joy and laughter, despite the distance!
