Richmond Farm Estate Wedding

Today we are sharing Morgan and Fowler’s Richmond Farm Estate wedding day. They just got married outside of Richmond on Fowler’s family property. They have a beautiful farm estate just outside of the city which served as the perfect venue for this wedding day.

This property really wasn’t what you think of when you hear the word farm. It was immaculate and absolutely beautiful. There were rolling hills, a lake, horse and cows, white fences, and a beautiful home. It was really just a wonderful setting for wedding day.

We actually photographed the rehearsal the night before, which was in a completely separate area of their property as the wedding day. When you have 60 acres you can really go wherever you want.

The wedding day was amazing.  The weather finally cooled off a little bit with a small breeze and little cloud cover.

I said kinda of a wedding day because they actually got married almost a year ago. Fowler is in the Navy and they did a small ceremony followed by this huge party. It kind of reminded me of the Covid weddings where people did a really intimate ceremony and then had a big party later on. And I tell you what all of those couples are so much more calm and relaxed. I guess because they’ve already gotten a big thing of getting married out of the way they can really just enjoy the party part.

Best moments – Richmond Farm Estate Wedding

OK a few highlights. Fowler’s dad officiated the ceremony and it was hysterical. He was very long-winded (he’s a lawyer) and Fowler kept trying to speed him up and cut him off and it was just a hysterical.

I love it when we showed up they were all just swimming in the lake and everything else so laid-back right from the start.

Completely obsessed that during the reception (which was just a dance floor outside in the field). The song ‘save a horse ride a cowboy’ came on and Fowler went and grabbed one of his horses and rode it around the dance floor.

Extra points because it was already dark but Fowler and the horse were both wearing a light up lei.

And that was my next thing. Fowler and Morgan are about to move to Hawaii. So half way through the reception everyone changed into a Hawaiian shirt and wore a light up lay on the dance floor.

It was just such a fun day.  And Morgan and Fowler were just such sweet people – as were every single person that was there.  It was just a joy to be there.

Enjoy some of our favorites from Morgan and Fowler’s beautiful wedding day.

Congrats you guys!
