We believe in loving on our clients, and we spend a lot of time investing in them. One of the happy benefits of this is that they share their experience with their friends! Becky & JP, like so many of our clients came from some of our sweet friends/past ML couple, Emily & Jonathan! We drove up to DC for this spectacular Georgetown session that we ended up tagging on an extra hour to take some more photos near the Mall with all of its historic monuments!
It wasn’t an ideal temperature outside… As we were driving up, our thermometer read 105 degrees, and DC was supposed to be hotter! We arrived in Georgetown half an hour early, and so did Becky & JP! We had planned to get there 2 hours early, as we had never photographed in the Georgetown area and wanted to scope out some places. But DC traffic didn’t have the same plan… This is one of the reasons we want to live in the country… #farm2018… We used that extra half hour to our advantage for more photography and were able to photograph at so many gorgeous locations! We spent half our time walking around Georgetown, & the Francis Scott Key Bridge. And because we started early, I decided that we should head over to the national lawn (whoops, didn’t quite realize how far away that was…). So we hopped in an Uber, enjoyed the AC for a bit, and ended up at the Lincoln Memorial.
Turns out the summer is a popular time for people to visit the Lincoln Memorial (Who would have thought!), so we decided to walk around to some of the other monuments in the area to find a little more privacy. We’d never been to the Martin Luther King monument, but absolutely loved it, and walked around the paths nearby as well. Right at sunset, we stopped back at the Lincoln Memorial, and afterwards headed back to Georgetown to pick up our cars. Oh, and we did stop to take a few with their AWESOME matching tiger shirts. We love when our clients are just as kooky as us!
