Today we’re sharing Shannon and Taylor’s beautiful Fleetwood Farm Winery Virginia Wedding, just outside Leesburg, Virginia. If you’ve followed us for a bit, you know we love any Virginia winery wedding, and Fleetwood Farm is such a special spot. Chic indoor spaces, gorgeous garden areas, and the dreamiest light… it was the perfect setting for these two.

A Family-Centered Wedding Day

From the very beginning of working with Shannon and Taylor, we absolutely adored them. Their engagement session was a blast — and they brought Shannon’s daughter, Emma, who instantly became the star of the show. She’s just the cutest human.

On the wedding day, everyone kept joking that it was really Emma’s wedding, and honestly… she owned it. She had the sweetest little dress, the most adorable basket with her name embroidered on top, and when she rounded the corner for the ceremony and confidently tossed her petals, we just melted. After she finished, she sprinted to Taylor for a hug — one of our favorite moments of the entire day.

During the ceremony, during toasts, during the first dance… Emma kept sneaking in for hugs and dance moves. Watching their new family come together so naturally and joyfully was truly something special.

Outdoor Portraits – Fleetwood Farm Winery Virginia Wedding

We had some light cloud cover almost all day (photographer dream!), and since their timeline was a little tighter, we did all their portraits before the ceremony. These two? Absolute naturals. Not just beautiful — although yes, obviously they are — but so easy with each other. They slipped into every pose effortlessly.

Their wedding party and families were also total MVPs. Everyone was on time, ready, and excited. You could feel how much this day meant to every single person there.

Emotional Moments Everywhere

This was one of those wedding days where everyone was tearing up — including the people who apparently “don’t cry.”

Shannon warned us early in the day that her mom never cries… then mom cried during getting ready, cried during the bridesmaid reveal, and cried again during Shannon’s first look with her dad. I just kept thinking, “I’m pretty sure your mom does cry!”

Next, we set up Taylor for his first look with Shannon. The second he turned around? Waterworks. Thankfully, Shannon was gifted her the cutest embroidered handkerchief, which both of them ended up needing when they first saw each other, and throughout their private vows.

A Beautiful Setup at Fleetwood Farm

Fleetwood Farm Winery has such a clean indoor space — the kind you can completely transform. And with Le Petite Fleur Florals and Clover Hill Events on the vendor team, it truly looked stunning. Beautiful florals, cool textures, and such a welcoming layout for their ceremony and reception. All of this made their detail photos a total dream.

Toasts, Taylor Swift, And A Surprise Serenade

This year has been full of great toasts at our weddings, and this one may have topped them all. Shannon’s maid of honor (and now sister-in-law!) gave the most heartfelt, funny, Taylor-Swift-filled speech (Shannon is a huge swifty!). She ended with the sweetest line, saying that Shannon finally has her own Taylor now, and everyone lost it!

And once the dancing started… Thunderstruck came on over the speakers, and Taylor grabbed a mic, and sang to everyone. He absolutely crushed it! He could actually probably pass as the lead singer of ACDC!
