Eric & Kate | Engaged

We have had one of the wettest years on record in Virginia, literally. And if we get the rain we are projected to, we will be in the top 3 wettest years on record! Point being, fall has held off on showing it’s beautiful self… until now! We met Eric and Kate in what felt like the middle of nowhere, at Elsing Green Plantation, a beautiful and historic set of buildings off the Pamunkey River in King William County. We had originally planned for the engagement session to be at Libbie Hill, a favorite of ours, but Eric and Kate asked to change it, and we are so glad they did!

As we were heading up the long driveway with trees lining the road, deer were frolicking across the long grass, and the sun was shining perfectly through the clouds… It was like something out of a fairy tale. The caretakers at the property had a dog that greeted both of us when we arrived. Eric and Kate arrived, and they brought their own large pup, Remi, who is just the biggest lovable lab mix you’ve ever seen. Our stunning couple were complete naturals in front of our cameras, and we really struggled to cut down our favorites to share… there were just too many to choose from! Eric & Kate, we hope you had a fun engagement session… you guys were so much fun to photograph, and we can’t wait for your fall wedding next year!
